DWM Multi-Vending 6 x 2 Slot ‘Automat’

The price reflects the delivery costs of this 30kg machine and the fact it will need to be sent in a wooden crate with two-man handling. For this reason, although it is generally workshopped and ready to send (with optional LED strip), please allow 7-10 days for delivery.

This machine is unique in that YOU choose the contents – food, hardware, books, anything that fits in the slot! 6 slots are available, then turn the mechanical handle to reverse the display and reveal another 6, see the video here. All opened by inserting a 2/6 or half-crown coin of which 20 or so are supplied.

IMPORTANT – This machine is for home use only. The bottom lock is not operational, though both locks could be replaced if you wish – there seems no need for a home machine as the top lock which is original holds the door closed perfectly. The locks are both the original German made ones with a single key provided for the top lock only.

This is a German ‘DWM‘ machine, of which I can find very little information on the web but amazingly did have a vintage flyer for, it was made for the UK specifically – or specially imported – as the denomination of one half crown or 2/6 coin has obviously been done at the factory and isn’t some sort of after conversion, all the text and instructions are in English. There is provision for a light but none seems to have ever been fitted, we would be happy to fit a low voltage LED strip if required at cost price.

Dimensions are approx. 32cm wide, 21cm deep, 75cm tall – it’s very heavy at around 30kg and must be secured properly to the wall. Each compartment is approx. 16cm wide, 7cm high.

Accepts a single 2/6 or half crown coin, possibly designed to be adjusted for coin count, but we do not have any instructions on this and suggest you don’t attempt to do so 🙂
