‘Dramatic Exit’ Light Up Sign – in a NEW British Made Lumenex lightbox!

Something a little different, this is a genuine commercial quality Lumenex sign to which we’ve added a humorous ‘Dramatic Exit’ legend.

Lumenex were founded in the ’70s but following a takeover, many of their principal product lines were subsumed into corporate behemoths Tyco using their other names such as Honeywell and Gent – the Lumenex brand name continued to be used for ‘special products’ including confusingly marine-orientated ones thereafter. This light fitting is NOT recommended for the high seas.

We had obtained one final batch of these 90s era, commercial grade lights that are metal cased in very solid metal white casings, that were made sometime in the mid 90s to early 2000s. These were originally made as ‘ON AIR’ signs, but some had the legends broken or just plain missing. As a result although the lights are in ‘as new’ condition note that the cardboard outer boxes are less like new! We double box them anyway, with a custom made (plain brown) box so will still arrive in mint condition!

Dimensions are w=430mm, h=190mm, d=60mm or in old money that’s 17″ x 7½” x 2⅓”. Weight of the box is around 1kg!

This model uses a 12v LED light source and an ISO 9001 sourced, CE / UKCA power supply is included. Made in the UK in our own workshop with a majority of British Made parts.

White rubber feet are fitted to the base. The power cord input is to the REAR on this model.
