The seller says;Vintage c1950 “Hall Telephone Accessories Ltd” Postage Stamps Vending Machine and Post Box.This wonderful, “Postage Stamps” vending machine and post box by “Hall Telephone Accessories Ltd.” is in “as found” condition. This machine was made by, I believe, the Willesden, north London, branch of Hall Telephone Accessories. The company was founded in 1921 and their primary site was in Dudding Hill Lane. They made the coin operated stamp vending machines for the GPO, as well platform ticket issuing machines used on all major railway stations in Great Britain. The cabinet is solid oak [for once it really is – ed.] with a stained plywood back, the front postage plates are made from cast brass, the casting is still clear and crisp and both have their enamel sliding plaques with “1/2 D”, “1 D” and “EMPTY”.The dispensing mechanisms appear to be complete, and it also has its’ internal wooden tray.eBay sellers description
