Hanging around eBay as you do, I came across these two machines, one is very much Rose Cottage the other, not so much – but still interesting.
First up we’ve got a Sielaff Nestlé machine from the late 30p era; sadly this is now completely bereft of machinery and relegated to cupboard status;
And now for something completely different. In fact, so different I can’t imagine how a British jukebox company got involved in this, and even exactly what the game is here. Suffice to say it’s squarely aimed at younger children, presumably weighed a ton and took up a fair bit of space.
It’s not quite clear what you need to do to ‘score 15’ or what happens when you do – but I guess the joystick and prize chute are involved in some way.
